- Remember that the PVR is a PCI based board. Most 486 systems are ISA or VLB
- based. You CAN buy a 486 PCI system, but they are the exception, not the rule.
- If you are buying new, the cost difference between a Pent-100 system and a
- 486-100 is minimal and you'll get more life out of the Pentimum system.
